摘要
作为数字时代城市发展的新模式,智慧城市试点为中国实现低碳转型提供了新机遇.基于2005—2020年中国205个地级市的数据,采用双重差分模型探讨了智慧城市试点对相邻非试点城市碳排放的邻里效应.结果显示,智慧城市试点发挥了积极的“示范效应”,降低了相邻非试点城市的碳排放强度.传导机制上,试点城市的绿色技术创新和产业结构优化效应有效促进了相邻非试点城市减少碳排放.此外,对于资源型城市和重点环保城市的相邻非试点城市,碳减排效应更强.
As a new model of urban development in the digital age,smart city pilotpolicy provide a new opportunity for China to achieve the low-carbon transition.Based on data from 205 prefectural-level cities in China from 2005 to 2020,a Difference-in-Differences(DID)model was used to explore the neighborhood effect of smart city pilots on the carbon emissions of adjacent non-pilot cities.The results show that smart city pilots play a positive"demonstration effect"and reduce the carbon emission intensity of adjacent non-pilot cities.In terms of the transmission mechanism,the green technology innovation and industrial structure optimization effect of the pilot cities effectively promoted the reduction of carbon emissions in the adjacent non-pilot cities.In addition,the carbon emission reduction effect is even stronger for the adjacent non-pilot cities of resource-based cities and key environmental protection cities.
