摘要
和政地区位于甘肃省东南部,地表出露地层除缺失太古界、志留系和泥盆系外,石炭系—第四系均有出露,以古近系和新近系出露的面积最多。新近系和第四系产丰富哺乳动物化石,共发现10个含化石层位,产出化石包括3纲8目150个种,通过对该地主要化石产地产出的化石种类进行梳理,并对其资源特征进行了评价。依据化石产出的完整性、珍惜性、观赏性、科研价值等划分了保护等级,新增1级保护化石1种,3级保护化石78种,同时提出对和政地区古生物化石进行保护的建议。
In the southeastern part of Gansu Province,Hezheng Prefecture,except for the missing Archean,Silurian,and Devonian strata,the Carboniferous Quaternary strata are all exposed,with the largest areas exposed in the Paleogene and Neogene.The Neogene and Quaternary periods are rich in mammalian fossils.A total of 10 fossil bearing strata have been discovered,producing 150 species of fossils in 3 classes,8 orders.The author has sorted out the fossil species produced in the main fossil producing areas of the area and evaluated their resource characteristics.Based on the completeness,preciousness,ornamental value,and scientific research value of fossil production,the protection level has been divided,adding 1 new level 1 protected fossil and 78 level 3 protected fossils.At the same time,suggestions for the protection of paleontological fossils in Hezheng area have been proposed.
