ONE STEP CLOSER Paris Olympic table tennis champion Ma Long runs with the torch during the torch relay for the 12th World Games on July 26 in Deyang,Sichuan Province.This was the first torch relay in World Games history.The 2025 World Games,running from August 7 to 17 in Chengdu,Sichuan,draws thousands of athletes from around the world to compete in 35 sports.The World Games,organized by the International World Games Association,is a multi-sport event held every four years in the year following the Summer Olympic Games.It primarily features competitions not seen in the Olympics,including American football and flying disc.
