摘要
目的:探讨淋巴结包膜外侵犯(ENE)与口腔鳞状细胞癌(OSCC)患者临床病理特征之间的关系,并评估ENE对OSCC患者生存预后的影响。方法:收集59例伴有淋巴结转移的OSCC患者的淋巴结组织,依据样本中ENE的情况分组,分别统计两组患者的临床病理特征并对这些患者进行随访。结果:59例转移性OSCC患者中,13例为ENE阳性,46例为ENE阴性。ENE的发生与患者转移淋巴结总数和乳酸脱氢酶密切相关(P<0.05)。生存分析显示,相比ENE阴性患者,ENE阳性患者总体生存率和无进展生存率更低(P<0.05)。结论:ENE对判断OSCC预后具有独立预测价值,ENE阳性患者预后较差。
Objective:To investigate the relationship between extranodal extension(ENE)and clinicopathological characteristics in oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)patients,further finding the potential value of ENE in predicting patients'outcome.Methods:Postoperative lymph node specimens from 59 OSCC patients with determined lymph node metastasis were collected.The patients were grouped based on the situation of ENE of lymph nodes in the samples.The clinical pathological characteristics of the two groups of patients were respectively counted and these patients were followed up.Results:Among the 59 patients,13 were diagnosed ENE-positive and 46 were ENE-negative.ENE was significantly associated with the total number of metastatic lymph nodes and elevated lactate dehydrogenase levels(P<0.05).Survival analysis revealed that ENE-positive patients had significantly lower overall survival and progression-free survival compared to ENE-negative patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:Extranodal extension serves as a critical prognostic indicator in OSCC,with ENE-positive patients exhibiting poorer survival outcomes.
