Executive Summary The International Union of Geological Sciences is one of the largest scientific unions under the umbrella of the International Council for Science(ICSU).It currently supports 121 Adhering Organizations(89 of which are Active members)as well as 54 Affiliated Organizations.Two new Adhering Organizations and twelve Affiliated Organizations joined since the last Congress.
