摘要 The Almonacid de la Cuba section,located in the Iberian Range,in central-eastern Spain,contains an outstanding record of the Pliensbachian-Toarcian boundary(Early Jurassic).Four ammonite assemblages,characterized respectively by the presence of Pleuroceras,Canavaria,Dactylioceras(Eodactylites)and Dactylio-ceras(Orthodactylites)have been distinguished.
