Rice genetic variations provide information on the potential to reduce thiamin deficiencies

摘要 Thiamin is essential for energy metabolism in humans.Deficiencies lead to cardiovascular and nervous system decline(Smith et al.,2021).Populations across the globe are estimated to have an inadequate intake of thiamin,particularly those relying on staple food sources such as rice(Whitfield et al.,2018).
