冶金原理选修课程建设与教学实践

摘要 冶金原理是冶金和材料等学科重要的理论课程。该文从通识的视角报道冶金原理选修课程建设与混合式教学的情况。课程以现代金属材料的冶炼工艺为导引,以基本概念桥接专业与通识教育,快速建立提取冶金选修课程体系。课程建设出版融媒体教材1部,MOOC课程已上线。基于教材和MOOC视频资源,课程在课堂引入冶金工艺视频,突出可视化教学方法的应用,开展混合式教学。鉴于选课学生专业背景不同,课程考核以英文教材或专著的汉译为主,以专题大作业为辅,加大能力考核的权重。课程思政弘扬中国古今金属冶炼的辉煌成就,激发学生科技创新的源动力。课程计划在混合式教学、移动教学和数字课程方面,继续进行有益的探索和研究。 Principles of Metallurgy is an important theoretical course in disciplines such as metallurgy and materials science.This paper reports on the construction of the elective course Principles of Metallurgy and its blended teaching approach from a general education perspective.The course is guided by the smelting processes of modern metallic materials,bridging specialized and general education through fundamental concepts,and has rapidly established an elective course system for extractive metallurgy.The course has built and published one textbook of blended media,and the MOOC course is now available online.Based on the textbook and MOOC video resources,the course introduces metallurgical process videos in the classroom,highlights the application of visual teaching methods,and carries out blended teaching.Given the diverse professional backgrounds of the students,the course assessment primarily focuses on the translation of English textbooks or monographs into Chinese,supplemented by thematic assignments,thereby increasing the weight of ability assessment.The course ideology promotes the splendid achievements of metal smelting in China throughout history,inspiring students'motivation for technological innovation.The course plans continue to engage in useful exploration and research in blended teaching,mobile teaching,and digital courses.
