摘要
Novel benzo-bridged hexaphyrin(2.1.2.1.2.1)and its copper complex were synthesized.Single-crystal structures showed typical figure-of-eight Huckel topologies.NMR,NICS,HOMA,ACID,and EDDB analysis supported their non-aromatic properties owning to the strong local aromatic benzo rings cutting the global aromatic ring of the benzo-bridged figure-of-eight hexaphyrin(2.1.2.1.2.1).The redox properties and degenerate HOMOs and LUMOs levels indicate multielectron donating and accepting abilities.
