This paper investigates how communication data streams facilitate the remote diagnosis of secondary equipment in substations.Through an analysis of data acquisition,transmission,and processing workflows,this paper first outlines the evolution and key characteristics of power system communication architectures.It then provides a detailed explanation of the application procedures and technical aspects of data stream utilization in remote diagnostic processes.Finally,the paper discusses potential development trends and existing challenges in the field of remote diagnosis for future substations.
