摘要
作者群维护与建设是期刊工作的重点之一。开发合理的作者群结构,探究其属性对期刊的影响具有重要意义。本文以地质类科技期刊《现代地质》为例,运用统计学方法,系统梳理其2019—2023年文章作者年龄、机构、职称及文章引用次数等属性,总结规律并分析了期刊作者群结构特征及其对期刊发展的影响。研究发现,作者年龄、机构性质及职称对文章引用次数均有一定的影响,30~50岁并具有副高级职称的高校研究人员是《现代地质》2019—2023年引用率的主要贡献作者。作者群建设过程中,期刊工作者不仅要从作者挖掘渠道着手,还应关注作者的属性。通过对作者年龄、单位及职称等属性的筛查,能更好地选择适合各科技期刊的作者群,帮助提升期刊引用次数。通过组建活跃一线的青年编委指导办刊、制定针对性的激励措施、加强与兄弟高校和科研院所的合作与交流等,开展作者群结构建设工作,可促进期刊高效、高质量发展。
The maintenance and construction of the author group is one of the key points of the journal’s work.It is of great significance to develop a reasonable structure of the author group and explore the influence of its attributes on the journal.Taking the geological scientific and technological journal Geoscience as an example,this paper uses statistical methods to systematically sort out and analyze the attributes such as the age,institution,professional title of the authors and the citation frequency of the articles from 2019 to 2023,summarizes the patterns and analyzes the structural characteristics of the journal’s author group and its influence on the development of the journal.The author’s age,the nature of the institution and professional title all have certain influences on the citation frequency of the article.University researchers aged 30 to 50 with associate senior professional titles are the main contributors to the citation rate of Geoscience from 2019 to 2023.In the process of building the author group,journal workers should not only start from the channels for author mining,but also pay attention to the attributes of authors.By screening the author's age,affiliation and professional title and other attributes,it is possible to better select the author groups suitable for each scientific and technological journal,which helps to increase the citation count of the journal.By forming young editorial board members who are active on the front line to guide the operation of the journal,formulating targeted incentive measures,strengthening cooperation and exchanges with sister universities and research institutes,etc.,the construction of the author group structure can be carried out,which can promote the efficient and high-quality development of the journal.
