摘要
人工智能多样性是其生态系统的核心特征。算法开发、数据获取来源的多样性,以及算法和数据获取路径的互联网和电能的可及性,决定了人工智能多样性的客观存在。当前,人工智能的歧视性或偏见,正是开发、使用、部署及治理中缺失多样性的表现。人工智能多样性是人类思想多样性的基础、文化多样性的体现以及竞争个体多样性的保障,其不仅具有内在价值,还具备工具价值,对人类社会创新、文化繁荣及公平竞争具有重要意义。为应对当前人工智能多样性缺失问题,需制定保护和促进多样性的政策框架,将多样性嵌入人工智能伦理标准,同时开展国际合作,弥合地缘技术差距,实现人工智能可持续发展和公平惠益分享,确保其服务于人类福祉的终极目标。
AI diversity is a core feature of its ecosystem.The diversity of algorithm development,data acquisi-tion sources,as well as the accessibility of the Internet and electricity for algorithm and data acquisition paths determine the objective existence of AI diversity.Currently,the discrimination or bias of AI reflects the lack of diversity in its development,use,deployment,and governance.AI diversity is the foundation of the diversity of human thought,a reflection of cultural diversity and a safeguard for the diversity of competitive individuals.It has not only intrinsic value,but also instrumental value,playing a significant role in promoting social innovation,cultural prosperity,and fair competition.To address the current lack of diversity in AI,it is necessary to develop a policy framework to protect and promote diversity,embed diversity into AI ethical standards,and carry out in-ternational cooperation to bridge geo-technical gaps,achieve sustainable development and fair benefit-sharing of AI,and ensure that AI serves the ultimate goal of human well-being.
