摘要
为了能培养出更多满足经济社会发展要求的商务英语人才,教学改革至关重要。跨文化交际课程是商务英语的专业核心课,其重要性不言而喻。但传统的跨文化交际教学却面临着诸多问题,将多模态教学应用于该门课是提高其教学效果的有效途径。本文阐述多模态教学概念,对目前跨文化交际课程的教学现状进行分析,探讨多模态教学对教师专业素质、学生兴趣、学生专业能力、教学效果起到的推动作用以及需要注意的事项。
Teaching reform is essential for cultivating more business English talents who meet the requirements of economic and social development.As the core course of Business English major,the importance of Intercultural Communication is self-evident.But its traditional way of teaching is faced with many problems.Applying Multi-modal Teaching to this course is an effective way to improve its teaching effect.This paper expounds the concept of Multi-modal Teaching,analyzes the current teaching status of Intercultural Communication,and probes into the role of Multi-modal Teaching in promoting teachers’professional quality,students’interest and professional ability and teaching effect and those issues worth noticing.
