摘要
基本科学指标数据库(essential science indicators,ESI)是一种广泛使用的分析工具,通过对这些领域的高被引论文、热点论文、高被引作者、高被引机构等指标的分析,了解各高校在不同学科领域的学术影响力和竞争力。本研究基于ESI和web of science数据库,以吉林大学医学部为主要研究对象,研究中引入中国医学科学院医学信息研究所2023年度中国医学院校科技量值排名前3位高校进行对比分析,研究吉林大学已经进入ESI全球前1%与医学相关的学科特征、热点论文、被引频次等信息,评估学科的竞争力,为吉林大学医学部的学科建设与发展提供数据支撑,同时也为普通高校评价其科研水平提供有益借鉴。
The essential science indicators(ESI)database is a widely used analytical tool.Through the analysis of indicators such as highly cited papers,hot papers,highly cited authors,and highly cited institutions in these fields,the academic influence and competitiveness of each university in different disciplinary fields can be understood.This study is based on the ESI and web of science databases,with the Medical Department of Jilin University as the main research object.In the study,the top three universities in the ranking of scientific and technological quantity values of Chinese medical colleges in 2023 by the Institute of Medical Information,Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences were introduced for comparative analysis.This study focuses on the characteristics of medical-related disciplines of Jilin University that have entered the top 1%globally in ESI,hot papers,citation frequencies,etc.,to assess the competitiveness of the disciplines,provide data support for the discipline construction and development of the Medical Department of Jilin University,and also offer useful references for ordinary universities to evaluate their research levels.
