摘要
系列纪录片《何以中国》聚焦于“中华文明探源工程”和“考古中国”重大研究成果,以“考古写史”“透物见人”的叙事方式,回望中华文明形成的最初图景,数字影像技术复刻出文物原本所在的时代与生活场景、文物背后的故事与人物命运;时空平行交错的叙事结构将文物的前世今生,多元一体的中华文明根脉的形成与“何以中国”的现实之问连接起来。该片在以影像探源中华文明的叙事策略上的创新与价值追求,使其成为纪录片创作领域具有标志性意义的成功实践之一。
The documentary series China before China focuses on the significant research achievements of“Project to Trace the Origins of Chinese Civilization”and“Archaeology China Project”,and trace back to the initial formation of Chinese civilization by employing narrative approaches of“writing history through archaeology”and“revealing people through artifacts”.Digital imaging technology reconstructs the original era and living scenes of cultural relics,as well as the stories and human destinies involving the artifacts.The spatiotemporal parallel narrative structure connects the past and present of the artifacts with the formation of the diverse yet unified roots of Chinese civilization and the contemporary question of“China before China”.The innovation and value pursuit of this documentary in exploring the origins of Chinese civilization through imagery make it one of successful practices in the field of documentary creation.
