摘要
This paper introduces Learning-Mediated Community Organizing(LMO)as a theoretical framework for understanding how learning activities function as relational infrastructure in resource-constrained rural contexts.Based on synthesis of existing literature and multi-case analysis from Chinese rural communities,I conceptualize learning as a dynamic process that simultaneously builds social relationships and organizational capacity.Three mediating functions—cognitive, social, and transformative—operate through a two-layer relational cycle involving intra-community and community–external relations. This framework addresses critical gaps in community development approaches by providing mechanism-based explanations for social capital production under resource constraints.
