《山海经》神怪形象的服饰书写

摘要 《山海经》是“古今语怪之祖”,以宏诞迂夸之言,最早集中形塑了人与兽、兽与兽共生一体以及异形的神怪形象,怪诞诡奇,引人入胜,是可资后世及域外神祇异灵形象塑造参考的原型资源图库。作为语怪之书,《山海经》神怪形象的服饰书写独具特色。其借助首饰佩戴、配饰选用、服装穿搭、蛇饰整合四个方面装饰一众神怪,凝结为特定符号表征系统,在《山海经》经典神怪形象生成过程中发挥着重要功能,不仅藉服饰书写彰显漫画式静态叙事张力,体现了《山海经》作者的文本创作动因、审美心理与文化认同,更包罗着丰富的社会文化。 Shan Hai Jing is regarded as the“origin of all tales of the strange,”renowned for its grand and exaggerated narratives.It is the earliest work to systematically depict mythical creatures that combine human and beast features,as well as hybrid or grotesque forms,captivating readers with its bizarre and fantastical imagery.As such,it serves as a prototypical resource library for the creation of divine and supernatural figures in later generations and foreign cultures.As a classic of the supernatural,Shan Hai Jing presents a unique approach to the depiction of clothing on mythical creatures.Through four key aspects-headwear,accessories,garments,and serpentine adornments-it decorates a multitude of mythical beings,forming a distinct symbolic representational system.This system plays a crucial role in shaping the iconic imagery of Shan Hai Jing mythical creatures.The clothing descriptions not only enhance the static narrative tension in a cartoonish manner but also reflect the author’s creative motivations,aesthetic psychology,and cultural identity.Furthermore,they encompass rich sociocultural connotations.
