摘要
柴胡是我国传统中药中最常用的药物之一,柴胡皂苷(SS)是柴胡的主要活性成分,具有重要的药用价值。柴胡皂苷具有多种生物学功能,如抗炎作用、抗氧化作用、抗细胞凋亡作用、抗肿瘤功能等。自身免疫性疾病种类繁多,已发现超过80多种,包括全身性的,也包括局部性或器官特异性的,对患者生活的各个方面都有重大影响。如今,自身免疫疾病的患病率逐年增长,但仍然缺乏有效的治疗方法。虽然这些疾病的病因尚未完全明确,但它们也有着共同的病理特征,包括免疫系统的异常及慢性炎症。因此,迫切需要寻求有效的方法来减缓或预防这些疾病的发生发展。目前,中药及其活性成分以其独特的优点在防治这些疾病中得到了广泛地应用,尤其是柴胡皂苷。在这篇综述中,主要讨论柴胡皂苷研究的最新进展及其生物学功能,并重点介绍它们在自身免疫系统疾病中的应用,例如自身免疫性肝炎(AIH)、类风湿性关节炎(RA)和溃疡性结肠炎(UC)。
Chaihu(Bupleuri Radix)is one of the most commonly used drugs in traditional Chinese medicine in China,and Saikosaponins is the main active ingredient of Chaihu(Bupleuri Radix),which has important medicinal value.Saikosaponins have various biological functions,such as anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-apoptotic,and anti-tumor functions.There is a wide variety of autoimmune diseases,more than 80 have been identified,including systemic as well as localized or organ-specific,which have a significant impact on all aspects of the patient's life.Today,the prevalence of autoimmune diseases is increasing every year,but effective treatments are still lacking.Although the etiology of these diseases is not yet fully understood,they also share common pathologic features,including abnormalities of the immune system and chronic inflammation.Therefore,there is an urgent need to find effective ways to slow down or prevent the development of these diseases.Currently,traditional Chinese medicines and their active ingredients have been widely used in the prevention and treatment of these diseases with their unique advantages,especially Saikosaponins.In this review,the authors focus on recent advances in the study of Saikosaponins and their biological functions,with an emphasis on their application in autoimmune system diseases,such as autoimmune hepatitis,rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis.
