The Windup Girl,Paul Bachigalupi,from a unique anthropocentric perspective,meticulously portrays the increasingly tense and del icate relationship between human behavior and the natural environment,profoundly revealing the catastrophic consequences brought about by the mis use of technology.He offers an interpretation of the imbalance between humans and nature,as well as between humans and non-human life forms.This study is dedicated to examining and deeply analyzing The Windup Girl from the theoretical dimension of anthropocentrism,by meticulously dis secting a series of tragic events dominated by anthropocentric thinking in the novel.Its aim is to explore the deep implications of the text,provide new material for ecological criticism,and offer valuable insights for the sustainable development of human society.
