摘要
The emergence of the Bashu region as the center of ancient civilization in the upper Yangtze River and southwest China was not a historical accident. It exemplifies the principle that“geography and people are mutually dependent.”The driving force behind a region’s cultural innovation stems primarily from the mobility of the population and the ensuing cultural interactions. The Bashu regional culture, through the interplay between humans and their environment, continuously assimilates elements from other civilizations, which enables it to sustain its enduring vitality and innovation.
