南方气旋的爆发性发展及对船舶航行的影响与规避

Explosive Development of Southern Cyclones and Their Impact and Avoidance on Ship Navigation

摘要 为使船舶驾驶人员进一步熟悉海上气旋活动规律及规避策略,利用统计学方法对东亚南方气旋活动频数的时空分布以及爆发性气旋的产生和天气特征进行了研究。研究结果表明:南方气旋活动区主要集中在我国江淮流域及日本东部和东南部洋面上;夏季江淮气旋活动最盛,冬春季日本以东海域气旋活动频繁,尤其冬季由于暖洋面的加热作用、强大的冷暖海流交汇造成的海温梯度等,使得爆发性气旋的产生成为可能;其带来的强风、降水、巨浪等恶劣天气给船舶航行带来一定的威胁,尤其在气旋中心的西南侧出现强风和大浪,是船舶航行尽量避开的区域;对于不同气旋的避离方法,需要根据航行条件及驾驶员对天气系统准确的分析和判断能力而定。研究为提升船舶驾驶员的气象决策能力、优化航线规划、保障航行安全提供了一定的理论支持和实践指导。 To enable ship navigators to further familiarize themselves with the activity patterns of cyclones at sea and the strategies for avoiding them,statistical methods were employed to study the spatio-temporal distribution of the frequency of cyclone activities in the southern part of East Asia,as well as the generation and weather characteristics of explosive cyclones.The results indicate that:The main area of cyclone activity in the south is concentrated in the Yangtze-Huaihe River Basin of China and the sea east of Japan.Cyclone activity is most intense in the Yangtze-Huai River Basin during the summer,while the sea areas east of Japan experience frequent cyclone activity during the winter and spring.In winter,due to the heating effect of warm ocean surfaces and the strong sea temperature gradients caused by the convergence of warm and cold ocean currents,the formation of explosive cyclones becomes possible.These cyclones bring severe weather such as strong winds,heavy rainfall,and high waves,posing a certain threat to maritime navigation.Particularly,the southwestern side of the cyclone center is an area where strong winds and large waves are most likely to occur,which should be avoided by ships as much as possible.The avoidance methods for different cyclones need to be based on the sailing conditions and the driver s ability to accurately analyze and judge the weather system.The research provides theoretical support and practical guidance for improving the weather decision-making ability of ship pilots,optimizing route planning and ensuring navigation safety.
