摘要
选取西北地区城镇生活污水处理厂的两种污水处理工艺,分析两种工艺污水和污泥中24种全氟和多氟化合物(PFAS)的污染特征及去除效果。结果表明,A工艺污水和污泥中PFAS总质量浓度分别是21.98~201.67 ng/L和0.34~0.69 ng/g。B工艺污水和污泥中PFAS总质量浓度分别是14.78~54.41 ng/L和2.54 ng/g,两种工艺进水都以长链PFAS为主。A工艺对PFAS的去除率为84.60%,起去除作用的处理单元主要是沉淀池,出水呈现长链全氟烷基羧酸(PFCA)>短链PFCA>长链全氟烷基磺酸(PFSA)>短链PFSA的特征。B工艺出水中PFAS总浓度相比进水提高了122.05%,硝化/曝气生物滤池和高密度沉淀池使PFAS浓度升高,出水呈现短链PFCA>长链PFCA>长链PFSA>短链PFSA的特征。研究结果为未来中国西北地区城镇生活污水处理厂可能针对新污染物的管控提供数据支撑和理论依据。
This study investigated the pollution characteristics and removal performance of 24 per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances(PFAS)in two typical wastewater treatment processes at municipal wastewater treatment plants in Northwest China.The results demonstrated that the total PFAS concentrations(0x0E䥺SymbolSA@0x0FPFAS)in wastewater and sludge of Process A ranged from 21.98-201.67 ng/L and 0.34-0.69 ng/g,respectively.For Process B,the corresponding values were 14.78-54.41 ng/L in wastewater and 2.54 ng/g in sludge.The influent of both processes was predominantly composed of long-chain PFAS.Process A achieved an 84.60%PFAS removal efficiency,with the sedimentation tank serving as the primary treatment unit for contaminant elimination.The effluent exhibited a characteristic distribution of long-chain perfluoroalkyl carboxylic acids(PFCA)>short-chain PFCA>long-chain perfluoroalkyl sulfonic acids(PFSA)>short-chain PFSA.In contrast,Process B showed a 122.05%increase in total PFAS concentrations during treatment,where nitrification/aeration biofilters and high-density sedimentation tanks contributed to PFAS increase.The effluent profile displayed a distinct pattern of short-chain PFCA>long-chain PFCA>long-chain PFSA.These findings could provide critical data support and theoretical basis for future regulatory strategies targeting emerging contaminants in municipal wastewater treatment plants in Northwest China.
