高刷新频率驱动电路对FHD+AMOLED手机显示屏的影响分析

摘要 开发了一种全新的基于低温多晶硅薄膜晶体管的6T2C像素电路,该电路成功应用于驱动分辨率1080×2400 FHD+主动阵列有机发光二极管手机显示屏。该像素电路在工作时分离了阈值电压补偿与写数据过程,一方面使补偿时间可以延长到54.6μs;另一方面数据写入像素的速度得到了提升,单行数据写入时间压缩到1.7μs。该显示屏样品在240 Hz帧频下展现出超过90%的亮度均匀性和0秒时人眼最小可识别差异值2.4的残影水平,并且在FHD+AMOLED手机显示屏领域打破了165 Hz刷新率记录。该显示屏也能兼容工作于120 Hz、60 Hz等低功耗的帧频条件。 A totally new 6T2C LTPS TFT pixel circuit design for high frame rate FHD+(1080×2400-resolution)AMOLED cellphone display was developed.The processes of Vth compensation and data writing were separated in this pixel circuit.On one hand,the compensation time could be greatly extended to 54.6μs;on the other hand,the speed of data writing could also be accelerated without taking the compensation process into account and giving full play to the limit of TFT devices.The display demos exhibited excellent performance under 240 Hz frame rate,which showed more than 90%brightness uniformity and 0 second 2.4 JNCD short-term image stick level,which could exceed 165 Hz frame rate record for FHD+AMOLED cellphone display.These display demos also could operate at 120 Hz,60 Hz frame rate to reduce the power consumption.
