摘要
关于刘邦生年,史书记载主要有皇甫谧“秦昭王五十一年(前256)”和臣瓒“寿五十三(前247)”两种说法。前人主要从版本校勘学的角度论证,多主皇甫谧说;今人的争论则主要集中在刘邦与张良年龄大小及击黥布时称“老”的界定上。通过综合张良“年少”“未宦”及秦汉之际六十“免老”的规定,并参比刘邦、黥布之年龄差距,以及分析刘邦对信陵君的崇拜、对张耳的追随,特别是刘邦“及壮,试为吏”的时间、其与吕雉婚育的时间等,所有数据皆指向皇甫谧说,故刘邦生年当为公元前256年。
Regarding the birth year of Liu Bang,two stories are presented in historical writing:one by Huangfu Mi,which states“the 51st year of King Zhao of Qin(256 BC),”and another by Chen Zan,which claims“he died at 53(247 BC).”Previous scholars mainly argued from the perspective of textual criticism and largely supported Huangfu Mi’s theory.Present debates,however,focus on the age difference between Liu Bang and Zhang Liang,as well as the interpretation of Liu Bang being referred to as“old”during the campaign against Ying Bu.By synthesizing evidences such as Zhang Liang being described as“young”and“not yet holding office,”the Qin and Han regulation of retirement at the age of 60,the age gap between Liu Bang and Ying Bu,and analyzing Liu Bang’s admiration for Lord Xinling and his following of Zhang Er-particularly the timing of Liu Bang’s entry into official service as“upon reaching adulthood,”as well as the timing of his marriage and having children with LüZhi-all data points to Huangfu Mi’s theory.Therefore,Liu Bang’s birth year should be 256 BC.
