摘要
多囊卵巢综合征(polycystic ovary syndrome,PCOS)是一种具有高度异质性的复杂疾病,其中胰岛素抵抗(insulin resistance,IR)是其重要的病理特征,在生殖和代谢异常的发生发展中起关键作用。PCOS-IR并发症繁多,病程缠绵难愈。尽管传统的胰岛素增敏剂对于PCOS-IR患者有一定的治疗效果,但不良反应严重,部分患者不耐受。近年来研究发现,中药单体因具有药效温和、不良反应小等特点,一直是创新药物发现的源泉。因此,文章对国内外中药单体活性成分改善PCOS-IR的相关文献进行归纳整理,旨在为PCOS的临床诊疗和新药研发提供参考依据。
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a complex disease characterized by high heterogeneity.Insulin resistance(IR)is universally recognized as a key pathological feature of PCOS,and there is also evidence suggesting that IR may play an important role in the reproductive and metabolic abnormalities associated with PCOS.PCOS-IR often accompanied by various complications and lingering difficulties.Although traditional insulin sensitizers exhibit a certain therapeutic efficacy in PCOS-IR patients,their adverse effects are significant and some patients experience intolerance.In recent years,the mild efficacy and minimal side effects of monomers derived from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)have positioned them as a promising source for innovative drug discovery.Therefore,this paper aims to provide a comprehensive review of relevant literature on improving PCOS-IR through active components derived from TCM monomers both domestically and internationally,with the intention of offering valuable insights for clinical diagnosis,treatment of PCOS,and new drug development.
