CHINA.Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon National Nature Reserve.The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon National Nature Reserve,located in Medog of the Xizang Autonomous Region,is one of the most ecologically diverse and visually stunning protected areas in China.Originally established as the Medog Nature Reserve in 1986,it was renamed in April 2000 to highlight its most prominent natural feature-the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon.
