1933年,上海明星影片公司与“铁道部”达成共赢约定,上海明星影片公司无偿为“铁道部”摄制一部津浦、胶济、陇海风景宣传片、若干图片;“铁道部”为上海明星影片公司剧情片外景拍摄,提供必要帮助。上海明星摄影团循津浦、胶济、陇海沿线摄片之旅,足迹深入鲁、苏、豫、陕,堪称彼时大范围、远距离外景拍摄之壮举,呼应了政治性与民族性议题建构的时代需求,践行了其“电影新路线”,亦提供了一个了解彼时铁路沿线影业境貌的新视窗。
In 1933,the Shanghai Star Motion Picture Company reached a mutually beneficial agreement with the"Ministry of Railways"The Shanghai Star Motion Picture Company agreed to produce a promotional film showcasing the landscapes along the Jinpu,Jiaoj,and Longhai Railways,as well as a series of photographs,for the"Ministry of Railways""free of charge.In return,the"Ministry of Railways"would provide the company with the necessary assistance for filming location shots for its feature films.This"flm-shooting journey along the Jinpu,Jiaoji,and Longhai Railways",undertaken by the Shanghai Star Motion Picture Company's photography team,spanned the provinces of Shandong,Jiangsu,Henan,and Shaanxi.This large-scale,longdistance,location-shooting endeavor aligned with the era's emphasis on constructing political and nationalistic themes,adhered to the company's"new film route",and provided insight into the development of the film industry along the railways at the time.
