论教师的宽容品格

On the Tolerant Character of Teachers

摘要 教师宽容品格是指宽容精神在教师道德素养中的展现,具体表现为教师对不认同的现象有原则地不干预和对事物差异性的理性接纳。作为一种伦理实践,教师宽容品格包含了干预与克制、接纳与引导、职业角色与个体德性的三重辩证关系。教师的宽容品格从角色维度可分为普遍宽容品格和职业宽容品格,在指向维度上包括教师对自身、他人、社会及自然的宽容品格,在要素维度上包括宽容认知、宽容情感、宽容意志和宽容行为。包容性、民主性、原则性和发展性是教师宽容品格的基本特征。教师宽容品格具有本体价值和工具价值,前者指这种品格具有从明智到审辨、从关怀到正义、从超越到介入的意义,分别体现了教师宽容品格真、善、美的根本价值;后者指这种品格对于教师职业发展与社会进步的价值。自我修为、学校教育、家庭熏陶和社会影响是教师宽容品格生成的主要路径。 The tolerant character of teachers refers to the manifestation of the spirit of tolerance in their moral qualities,which is manifested in their principled non-interference in phenomena aof disagreement and rational acceptance of differences in things.As an ethical practice,the tolerant character of teachers includes a triple dialectical relationship between intervention and restraint,acceptance and guidance,and professional roles and individual virtues.The tolerant character of teachers can be divided into a universal tolerant character and a professional tolerant character from the role dimension.In the directional dimension,it includes the tolerant character of teachers towards themselves,others,society,and nature.In the element dimension,it includes tolerant cognition,tolerant emotion,tolerant will,and tolerant behavior.Inclusiveness,democracy,principality,and development are the basic characteristics of teachers'tolerant character.The tolerant character of teachers has both ontological value and instrumental value.The former refers to the significance of this character from wisdom to discernment,from care to justice,and from transcendence to intervention,which respectively reflect the fundamental values of truth,goodness,and beauty in the tolerant character of teachers;the latter refers to the value of this character for the professional development of teachers and social progress.Self-cultivation,school education,family cultivation,and social impact are the main paths for the generation of teachers'tolerant character.
