教师工作满意度如何影响学生学业成绩——基于CEPS数据的经验证据 被引量:1

How does Teacher Job Satisfaction Affect Student Academic Performance--Empirical Evidence Based on CEPS Data

摘要 研究基于中国教育追踪调查(CEPS)数据,采用工具变量法识别班主任教师工作满意度对学生学业成绩的因果效应。结果显示,教师满意度每提升1个单位,学生标准化成绩平均提高2.83分,数学效应最大(3.38分),其次为英语(2.63分)和语文(2.58分)。异质性分析表明九年级学生、女生、小班及高学历家庭子女对教师满意度更敏感。调节效应分析发现,教师合作可缓解低满意度对语文成绩的负面影响,但同事关系密切可能抑制英语教学创新。多维解构显示,薪酬、管理、设施及学生质量四维度均显著促进成绩提升,其中学生质量维度效应强度为薪酬的1.6倍(数学增益1.55分)。研究建议构建教师满意度动态监测体系,推动管理数字化转型,并建立学科导向的教师发展共同体以平衡专业协作与教学创新。 Based on the data from the China Education Panel Survey(CEPS),this study employs the instrumental variable method to identify the causal effect of homeroom teachers’job satisfaction on students’academic performance.Results indicate that a one-unit increase in teacher satisfaction boosts students’standardized test scores by an average of 2.83 points,with the greatest marginal effect in mathematics(3.38 points),followed by English(2.63 points)and Chinese(2.58 points).Heterogeneity analysis reveals that 9th graders,girl students,those in smaller classes,and children from highly-educated families are more sensitive to teacher satisfaction.Moderation analysis reveals that teacher collaboration can mitigate the negative impact of low satisfaction on Chinese scores,while close colleague relationships may inhibit pedagogical innovation in English teaching.A multidimensional breakdown shows that salary,management,facilities,and student quality all significantly contribute to performance improvement,with the effect of student quality being 1.6 times that of salary(a 1.55 points of maths gain).This study recommends establishing a dynamic monitoring system for teacher satisfaction,promoting digital transformation in educational management,and creating subject-oriented teacher development communities to balance professional collaboration and instructional innovation.
