喀斯特地表水体碳氮化学计量比对沉水植物生物量的影响

Impact of stoichiometric ratio of carbon to nitrogen in karst surface waters on biomass of submerged plants

摘要 喀斯特富营养化湖泊—草海的沉水植物近年来衰退现象严重,了解在高N、低溶解CO_(2)的水环境中,植物体内C、N含量及比值特征的分布规律,对于探讨沉水植物生态指示作用尤为重要。本研究通过对沉水植物—布氏轮藻的观测发现,沉水植物体内C:N受水环境C:N的影响,随水体内C:N的增加植物内C:N相应升高,此外,沉水植物体内C:N与其相对生长速率显著正相关,且相对生长速率越高的水体中沉水植物生物量越大。在N不构成限制因素的喀斯特富营养化水体中,水体的溶解CO_(2)含量可能是决定其对沉水植物生物量承载力的关键因素,增加水体中溶解CO_(2)的含量有助于沉水植物的恢复。本研究结果为喀斯特湖泊中沉水植物恢复提供科学依据。 In recent years,submerged plants in the karst eutrophic lake—Caohai have experienced significant decline.Understanding the distribution patterns of carbon(C)and nitrogen(N)content and their ratios in plant tissues under the water environment of high nitrogen and low dissolved CO_(2) is particularly important for exploring the ecological indicators of submerged plants.This study,based on observations of submerged plants(e.g.,Chara spp),has found that the C-N ratio within submerged plants is influenced by the C-N ratio of the surrounding water environment,with the plant’s C-N ratio increasing correspondingly as the water’s C-N ratio increases.Additionally,the CN ratio within submerged plants is significantly positively correlated with their relative growth rate,and waters with higher relative growth rates exhibit greater submerged plant biomass.In nitrogen-unrestricted eutrophic karst waters,the dissolved CO_(2) content may be a key factor in determining the water’s carrying capacity for submerged plant biomass.Increasing the dissolved CO_(2) content in the water is beneficial for the restoration of submerged plants.This study provides scientific evidence for the restoration of submerged plants in karst lakes.
