摘要
姓氏文化在中国历史和人类漫长的文明进程中,起着非常重要的作用。以《左传》叙述为例,姓氏曾标示血缘、区别婚姻、明分亲疏、彰显贵贱。但随着社会的发展和文明程度的不断进步,姓氏已失去其区别贵贱、婚姻的作用,但姓氏作为血缘传承的标志仍可起到构建和谐人际关系、促进国家统一和民族团结、传承中华文化的积极作用。面对新背景,新形式,需要从尊重姓氏选择的自由、延续家谱以传递优良家风、发挥宗亲联谊活动和宗亲会的作用、挖掘研究姓氏文化内涵并贯穿国民教育始终等方面做起,合理使用姓氏并发挥其文化功能。
Surname culture has always played a significant role throughout Chinese history and in the prolonged evolution of human civilization.Taking the narratives of Zuo Zhuan as an example,surnames once signified bloodline,distinguished marriages,clarified kinship hierarchies,and highlighted social status.However,with societal development and the advancement of civilization,surnames have lost their original roles in demarcating social status or regulating marriages.Nevertheless,as enduring markers of bloodline heritage,surnames still serve positive functions in fostering harmonious interpersonal relationships,promoting national unity and ethnic solidarity,and perpetuating Chinese cultural traditions.In light of new contexts and challenges,it is essential to leverage the cultural value of surnames by respecting the freedom of surname choice,continuing family genealogies to transmit exemplary family ethos,utilizing clan associations and kinship networking activities,and exploring the cultural connotations of surnames through academic research while integrating them into national education.
