摘要
【目的】论述中国谷子品种在非洲的应用情况,为解决热带非洲地区的粮食安全问题提供借鉴。【方法】分析中国谷子在非洲国家的种植情况,尤其是布基纳法索的小米项目培育出中国谷子品种的性状及在增产、抗病性、抗倒伏、加工性能等方面的表现。【结果】中国谷子在非洲对于增产增收发挥出了显著作用。【结论】提出中国谷子在非洲的发展方向,中国谷子能够在保障非洲粮食安全方面发挥巨大潜力。
[Objective]This article aims to discuss the application of Chinese foxtail millet varieties in Africa and provide insights for addressing food security issues in tropical Africa regions.[Methods]Through the planting situation of Chinese foxtail millet in African countries,especially the Millet Project in Burkina Faso,the features of Chinese foxtail millet varieties and their performance in increasing yield,disease resistance,lodging resistance,processing performance,etc.[Results]show that Chinese foxtail millet has played a significant role in increasing yield and income in African Chinese foxtail millet planting area.[Conclusion]Based on the current development status of Chinese foxtail millet in Africa,the development direction of Chinese foxtail millet in Africa is proposed,and the enormous potential of Chinese foxtail millet in ensuring food security in Africa is elaborated.
