组织即兴视角下中小企业自主数字化转型的实现机理——基于酷特智能的探索性案例研究 被引量:2

摘要 与依附式转型不同,中小企业如何依靠自身力量克服“小企业劣势”带来的转型困境,实现自主数字化转型的过程机理还未被理论研究充分揭示。以酷特智能为案例研究对象,基于组织即兴理论来探索中小企业自主数字化转型的实现机理。研究发现,不同阶段中转型目标模糊、战略结构错配以及价值创造瓶颈的转型困境触发了中小企业采取探索式即兴、适应式即兴以及生成式即兴予以响应,并形成了“企业家直觉—组织注意力—资源行动”的组织即兴活动过程。试错学习、响应学习和交互学习能够对即兴行动效果进行延伸和转化,由此实现了数字化战略涌现,数字平台能力构建以及数字生态价值主张的阶段性结果,体现了自主转型的战略主动选择、能力内部蓄积以及独立生态深耕的特点。阶段性转型结果往往直接或间接地塑造了下一个阶段的即兴触发情境,进而影响了下一个阶段组织即兴方式的选择,由此构成了阶段间的演进,最终推动中小企业自主数字化转型的实现。揭示了组织即兴视角下中小企业自主数字化转型的过程模型,打开了中小企业借助组织即兴实现自主数字化转型的“黑箱”,为指导中小企业的数字化转型实践提供有益参考。 Unlike dependent transformation,how SMEs rely on their own strengths to overcome the dilemma caused by the“liabilities of smallness”to realize an independent digital transformation has not been fully explored in the existing studies.It used Kutesmart as a subject and explored the mechanism of independent digital transformation of SMEs based on organizational improvisation theory.It finds that,dilemmas in transformation such as ambiguous goals,strategic-structure mismatches,and value creation bottlenecks in different stages trigger SMEs to adopt exploratory improvisation,adaptive improvisation and generative improvisation,with an organizational improvisation process characterized by“entrepreneurial intuition-organizational attention-resource mobilization”.Trial-and-error learning,responsive learning,and interactive learning extend and deepen the effects of improvisation,promoting the emergence of digital strategies,digital platform capabilities building and digital ecological value propositions.Those outcomes reflect the characteristics of strategic proactive choice,internal capacity building,and independent ecosystem cultivation in the process of independent transformation.The outcomes of each stage often directly or indirectly shape the triggering context for subsequent improvisation,influencing the choice of organizational improvisation type in the next stage.This process constitutes an evolution between stages,ultimately driving the realization of independent digital transformation of SMEs.It reveals the process model of independent digital transformation of SMEs from the perspective of organizational improvisation,opening the“black box”of how SMEs leverage organizational improvisation to achieve independent digital transformation.It provides valuable insights for guiding the digital transformation practices of SMEs.
