老年人群体中存在非常严重的性别隔离现象。老年男性可能在经济上更为独立,拥有更多的退休金和储蓄。他们在财务管理上可能更为自主,而老年女性可能在经济上更依赖子女或配偶,尤其是在缺乏退休金或储蓄的情况下。在劳动力市场中,男女在职业分配、工作时间和经济活动参与程度上存在差异,这些差异可能导致老年时期的经济隔离。性别隔离可能导致老年女性或男性在社交活动中的参与度降低,从而增加社会孤立的风险,影响老年人的身心健康,导致老年女性在经济上更加依赖子女或配偶,可能阻碍老年人将知识和经验传递给年轻一代,可能导致家庭成员之间的角色期望和责任分配出现冲突,可能加剧老年人之间的不平等,可能会导致相关政策和服务的设计不够全面,无法满足不同性别老年人的特定需求。解决老年人中的性别隔离问题需要从法律、政策支持,社会观念改变,社会支持和家庭支持入手。
There is very serious gender segregation among the elderly.Older men are likely to be more finan-cially independent,with larger pensions and savings.They may be more autonomous in managing their finances,whereas older women may be more financially dependent on their children or spouse,especially if they lack retirement funds or savings.In the labor market,there are differences between men andwomeninoccupationaldistribution,working hours,andparticipationineconomic activities.These differences may lead to economic isolation in old age.Gender segregation may lead to a de-crease in the participation of older women or men in social activities,thereby increasing the risk of social isolation,affecting the physical and mental health of the elderly,causing older women to be-come more economically dependent on their children or spouses,and may prevent the elderly from integrating knowledge and the transfer of experience to the younger generation may lead to conflicts in role expectations and distribution of responsibilities among family members,may exacerbate ine-quality among the elderly,and may lead to the design of relevant policies and services that are not comprehensive enough to meet the needs of elderly people of different genders.specific needs.Solv-ing the problem of gender segregation among the elderly requires legal and policy support,changes in social concepts,social support and family support.
