摘要
藏传佛教噶举派祖师玛尔巴的一生,不仅以教法传承而闻名,更因他数次前往尼泊尔、印度求法的传奇经历而广为人知,其一生贯穿着中国西藏与南亚诸国的文化交流史。文章通过归纳、释读以16世纪藏族历史学家巴卧·祖拉陈瓦所撰《尊者玛尔巴传·成就稀有之语》为主的相关文献,对玛尔巴的生卒年及生平活动进行论证与推断,梳理玛尔巴在南亚通道中参与文化交流的历史事实与时间脉络。以玛尔巴为代表的藏族知识精英与南亚诸国的系列互动,是中国西藏与周边区域自古以来交往交流交融历史的重要书写,为推动“一带一路”建设、推进南亚大通道建设提供了重要历史借鉴。
The life of Marpa,the founder of the Kagyupa Sect of the Tibetan Buddhism,is renowned not only for his religious teachings but also for his legendary journeys to Nepal and India in search of Dharma,which are emblematic of the cultural exchanges between China's Tibet and South Asian countries.This paper examines the historical facts and chronological sequence of Marpa's involvement in cultural exchanges along the South Asian corridor by analyzing and interpreting relevant literature,primarily the Biography of Marpa written by the 16th century Tibetan historian Pawo Tsuklag Trengwa(dpav-bo-gtsug-lag-vphreng-ba).Moreover,it argues and deduces Marpa's year of birth and death and his life activities.The interactions of Tibetan intellectual elites,represented by Marpa,with South Asian countries compose an important chapter in the long history of exchanges between China's Tibet and its neighboring regions,providing significant historical insights for the promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative and the development of the South Asian corridor.
