摘要
三个部门的划分框架已广为流传,但与第一部门和第二部门具有明确的概念指称、运作逻辑、目标追求不同,第三部门更像是“一个松散而臃肿的怪物”。许多竞争性概念都是基于剩余法的思维提出,试图通过否定性构词来明确其对立面,却难以触及第三部门的核心内涵。对汉语词汇之字形本义的考察为相关概念的探索提供了一个独特视角,强调人与人之情感联结的“慈善”一词也许是指称第三部门的最佳之选,但这并不是意味着人类要重回农业社会的感性互助,而是呼吁人类基于人的共生共在开展行动。
The tripartite division framework of sectors has been widely disseminated,different from the first sector and the second sector which have clear conceptual references,operation logics,and goal pursuits,the third sector is more like“a loose and bloated monster”.Many competitive concepts have been put forward based on the thinking of residues.They attempt to use negative words to define its opposite,yet it is difficult to touch on the core connotation of the third sector.An examination of the original meaning of Chinese characters provides a unique perspective for relevant conceptual explorations.The word“Cishan”,which emphasizes the emotional connection between people,may be the best choice for referring to the third sector.However,this does not mean that humanity should return to the emotional mutual assistance in an agricultural society,but rather calls on humanity to take actions based on the symbiotic coexistence of human beings.
