摘要
大冈升平《野火》以身患离人症的复员军人手记的形式描写了二战末期日本士兵在菲律宾莱特岛战场的痛苦战争记忆。第一人称叙述者“我”用带有省思的抒情性文体描写了战争极限状况下个体的绝望、人性的丧失以及对饱受创伤的灵魂获得救赎的渴望,深刻批判了战争的杀人本质和战后战争风险仍然存在的严酷现实。战后“我”的手记书写行为意味着现代个体借助战争苦难书写和人性反思从军国主义思想的禁锢中解放出来获得了个体主体性。在此意义上,《野火》的战争叙事与战后个体身份认同主题紧密相关,也使该作具有了浓厚的战后思想启蒙色彩和批判日本战后政治体制的伦理指向。
Fires on the Plain by Ooka Shohei depicts the painful war memories of Japanese soldiers on the Battle of Leyte Island in the Philippines at the end of World War II in the form of notes from demobilized soldiers suffering from dissociation syndrome.The first person narrator,“I”uses a reflective and lyrical style to describe the individual's despair,loss of humanity,and desire for redemption of traumatized souls under the extreme conditions of war,deeply criticizing the murderous nature of war and the harsh reality that the risks of war still exist after the war.The act of writing notes of“me”implies that modern individuals have liberated themselves from the constraints of militaristic thought through writing about the suffering of war and human reflection,and gained individual subjectivity.In this sense,the war narrative of Fires on the Plain is closely related to the theme of post-war individual identity,which also gives the work a strong post war ideological enlightenment color and an ethical orientation for criticizing Japan's post-war political system.
