摘要
文徵明的《湘君湘夫人图》暗含着文人画家与职业画家之间的微妙关系,突显了文徵明对传统“古意”风格的追摹以及深刻的隐喻内涵,是明代中后期文人画家身份隐忧的体现。文章认为文氏创作该图不仅是满足雅俗双向需求的结果,而且是其竭力塑造文人精英文化的具体实践。该实践反映出明代中后期文人群体面临大众文化威胁时的普遍隐忧,他们不得不选择某些场域来继续保持文人群体的优异,而关乎雅俗的评判便成了首要的择取面向。
Wen Zhengming's painting Xiang Jun and Xiang Furen reveals the delicate relationship between literati painters and professional painters,demonstrates his pursuit of the traditional“ancient”style and profound metaphorical meaning,and manifests the concerns of literati painters on their identities in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.This article believes that this painting was created not only to suit both refined and popular tastes,but to create an elite culture of literati.It reflected literati's common concerns when facing the threat of mass culture,who had no way but to maintain the superiority of literati in some fields.Therefore,the judgment of refined and popular tastes became their primary consideration.
