高能对撞上多喷注末态的探测器模拟效果分析

摘要 粒子物理领域,探测器模拟在实验研究与唯象学研究中具有重要的作用.近年来,Delphes等快速探测器模拟工具在唯象学研究中得以广泛应用.另一方面,为便于更快速高效地开展大量超出标准模型新物理模型物理过程的分析和参数空间的扫描,模拟数据分析程序包Madanalysis5的研究团队发布了简化的快速探测器模拟工具SFS.以多个多喷注末态过程pp→zh→jjbb-(R=0.4)、pp→tt-→jjjjbb-(R=1.2)对比分析SFS和Delphes的探测器模拟效果.研究表明,简化的快速探测器模拟工具SFS在运动学分布和信号重建方面简单快速并能达到与Delphes相近的物理分析效果.本文对推广应用简化的快速探测器模拟工具SFS和多喷注末态过程的唯象学研究提供了有益借鉴. In the field of particle physics,detector simulation plays an important role in experimental and phenomenological studies.In recent years,fast detector simulation tools such as Delphes have been widely used in phenomenological studies.On the other hand,to facilitate faster and more efficient analysis of many processes for new physics models and to carry out scans in relevant large parameter spaces,the research team behind the simulation data analysis package Madanalysis 5 has released a simplified fast detector simulation tool SFS.In this paper,we compare the detector simulation effects of SFS and Delphes for multi-jet final state processes pp→zh→jjb b-(R=0.4),pp→t t-→jjjjb b-(R=1.2).The study shows that the simplified fast detector simulation tool SFS is simple,fast,and can achieve similar physical analysis effects to Delphes in kinematic distributions and signal reconstruction.This paper provides useful guidance for the promotion and application of the simplified fast detector simulation tool SFS and phenomenological studies of multi-jet final state processes.
