摘要
位于实在界深处的坚硬内核das Ding构成了从弗洛伊德到拉康的精神分析学学理根基。如何处理das Ding的翻译是一个带有认识论和本体论色彩的哲学问题,也是我们理解、接受和整合精神分析学的逻辑前提。学界对这个内核的翻译,首先是用dasDing将它隐喻出来;其次是借用其它符号对dasDing进行内涵解读和文化阐释。这个重构意义的过程不仅得到了一系列翻译理论的学理支撑,也与从海德格尔、伽达默尔到德里达、福柯和霍尔的哲学传统紧密相关。虽然用最不具有意义粘黏意味的das Ding去指称不可言说的内核是可取的,但若对它作进一步的符码置换则有叠床架屋之嫌。为了对那个符号之外的存在持有足够的敬畏,不妨直接采用dasDing这个符码于精神分析学场域之中。这样的不译之译方案,既让我们有可能将研究的触角探进实在界的暗黑深处,又与不可言说的内核保持了足够的距离。
The conceptual core of the Real,das Ding,constitutes the theoretical foundation of psychoanalysis from Freud to Lacan.That is why its translation not only amounts to a logical premise for the understanding,acceptance and integration of psychoanalysis,but raises an issue of philosophical significance as well.The rendition of the conceptual core is conducted in two steps:firstly,it is metaphorized with das Ding as the vehicle;secondly,other symbols are associated with das Ding for its conceptual expansion and cultural enrichment.This process of meaning construction is not only supported by a series of translation theories,but also closely related to philosophical traditions from Heidegger and Gadamer to Derrida,Foucault,and Hall.Although it is acceptable to give expression to the inscrutable and thus ineffable core of the Real through the metaphorical use of das Ding,it would become redundant to further substitute it with other symbols in the process of translation and interpretation.To keep intact our awe for the beyond-the-Symbolic realm,we might as well keep das Ding in translations of psychoanalysis-related publications without bothering to find for it a target language equivalent.Such a strategy of"translation without translating"not only makes it possible for us to delve into the impenetrable darkness of the Real,but also enables us to maintain sufficient distance from its unsymbolizable conceptual core.
