In the context of the global energy transition,the oil and gas industry faces the urgent challenge of green transformation.This article examines the ESG(Environmental,Social,and Governance)trajectory and sustainable development within the oil and gas industry.It delves into the current application of the ESG framework within the industry,evaluates policy standards,and assesses the opportunities and challenges confronting it.
