摘要
智慧城市通过整合信息技术,在追求经济高质量发展的道路上,为现代城市管理和服务提供了新路径。基于2005—2019年我国280个地级市的面板数据,实证分析了智慧城市建设对经济高质量发展的影响及其作用机理。研究发现:智慧城市建设对经济高质量发展起显著促进作用;智慧城市建设对东、中、西三个地区经济高质量发展的影响存在异质性,且在东部城市的促进效果更为显著;推动技术创新和产业结构升级是智慧城市建设推动经济高质量发展的两个有效路径。
Smart cities provide new avenues for modern urban management and services on the path towards pursuing high-quality economic development by integrating information technology.Using panel data from 280 prefectural cities in China,covering the period from 2005 to 2019,the present study conducts an investigation into the repercussions of smart city initiatives on the advancement of high-quality economic progression,The findings are as follows:The development of smart cities holds a prominent position in fostering high-quality economic growth;the repercussions of smart city initiatives on the advancement of high-quality economic in different regions is heterogeneous.Promoting technological innovation and upgrading industrial structure is an effective way for promoting high-quality economic development through smart city construction.
