摘要
量化分析国际环境工程领域基础研究资助布局和研究主题特征,从国际视角洞察学科发展特点,为我国从基础研究资助角度促进学科布局优化提供参考。以美欧日2008年以来环境工程领域的资助项目为研究对象,从领域资助框架、资助布局、重要资助方向3个角度出发分析环境工程学科发展趋势和特征,并根据学科研究特征构建研究问题维度框架,利用文本挖掘方法识别重要研究问题及其项目部署,识别当前国际环境工程学科的重要发展趋势和重点研究方向。研究发现,环境工程学科服务于国家或区域的重大发展战略目标,需求导向和战略导向性突出,在现有学科领域的基础上更加注重与其他学科的交叉融合,由此衍生更多交叉前沿性科学问题,涵盖应对气候变化、环境与健康、数字化等多领域学科应用范围。基于国际环境工程领域研究结果,建议我国环境工程学科进一步完善多学科交叉的综合性学科体系建设,重视学科前沿方向研究布局,并在应对我国及全球复杂环境问题中发展若干颠覆性、原创性、系统性的科学理论,逐步形成具有中国特色的环境工程学科布局。
This paper quantitatively analyzes the fundamental research funding pattern and research theme characteristics of the international environmental engineering,and provides insights into the discipline development characteristics from an international perspective.The aim is to provide references for promoting discipline optimization in China from the perspective of fundamental research funding patterns.Taking environmental engineering projects funded by the United States,Europe,and Japan since 2008 as research objects,the development trends and characteristics of the discipline are analyzed from three perspectives:discipline construction framework,funding pattern,and important funding direction.Furthermore,a subject framework for research questions is constructed according to the feature analysis of the discipline.And text mining methods are used to identify important research questions and project deployment,as well as important development trends and key research directions of the current international environmental engineering discipline.It is found that the environmental engineering discipline serves the major strategic goals of national or regional development,with the prominent demand orientation and strategic positioning.Based on the current discipline research fields,environmental engineering will pay more attention to the cross-integration with other disciplines,resulting in more cross-cutting scientific problems,covering the application of multi-field disciplines such as climate change,environment and health,and digitalization.On the basis of the results from international environmental engineering research,it is suggested that China's environmental engineering discipline should be further improved by constructing a multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary comprehensive discipline system.At the same time,attention should be given to the research pattern of the discipline frontier direction,and the development of a number of subversive,original and systematic scientific theories in response to complex environmental problems in China and the world.Thus,the discipline pattern of environmental engineering with Chinese characteristics will be gradually formed.
