Dongtai watermelon in Jiangsu Province occupies an important position in the domestic and international fruit market with its excellent quality,unique taste and wide market recognition.By combing the development history of Dongtai watermelon,this paper analyzes in depth its development orientation and advantages,including natural geographic advantages,varieties of resource advantages,planting technology advantages,brand building advantages and policy support advantages.At the same time,combined with the current market situation and development trend,the future development of Dongtai watermelon puts forward corresponding suggestions and prospects,aiming to provide theoretical support and decision-making reference for the sustainable and healthy development of Dongtai watermelon industry.
