摘要
北宋名臣赵抃的家世以及早年事迹,现存文献中的传记资料皆语焉不详,且有讹误。其实,依据赵抃文集的自述以及各种文献的散见记载,是可以勾勒出一个基本影像的。宋代的士大夫是在什么样的大背景和小环境下成长起来的?滴水聚成汪洋,一个士大夫的家世家学和成长经历,可以折射宋代士大夫政治参与者的具体样相。世代业儒,家非显贵,赵抃的个案,在宋代士大夫中更具有典型意义。因此,对北宋士大夫赵抃的家世及其早年事迹进行考述,相信对认识宋代政治生态的形成有所裨益。
The family background and early activities of Zhao Bian,a well-known minister in the Northern Song Dynasty,are ambiguously and inaccurately recorded in the existing biographical materials.In fact,based on Zhao Bian's self-accounts in his collected works and the scattered records in various documents,a basic portrait of him can be sketched.What were the broader context and specific environment in which the scholar-officials of the Song Dynasty thrived?As the saying goes,every little makes a mickle.The family history and growth experiences of a single scholar-official can mirror the specific features of the participants in the scholar-official politics in the Song Dynasty.The case of Zhao Bian,who came from a family of Confucian scholars for generations yet none of whom achieved high social status,is quite typical among the scholar-officials of the Song Dynasty.Therefore,it is believed that investigating into the family background and early activities of Zhao Bian will contribute to a better understanding of the formation of the political ecology in the Song Dynasty.
