刷牙方法的选择:基于循证证据的再思考

摘要 刷牙作为日常口腔保健的基本措施,不仅关乎口腔健康,而且与全身健康密切相关。面对众多的刷牙方法,如何选择一种既有效又安全的刷牙方式,已成为公众和口腔医学界共同关注的焦点。当前,Bass法及其改良方法 (改良Bass法)在国内被广泛推荐,但深入分析后发现,Bass法亦存在不足。本文将从刷牙的重要性、刷牙方法简介、Bass法的应用必要性及其潜在危害等方面展开讨论,旨在提醒临床应用及科普宣传中应根据患者实际情况推荐合适的刷牙方法。 Brushing,a fundamental practice in daily oral hygiene,is not only pivotal for oral health but also intimately linked to overall systemic health.In the face of a plethora of brushing techniques,selecting an approach that is effective and safe has emerged as a shared concern for the general public and the oral healthcare community.Currently,the Bass method and its modified variant(modified Bass method)are widely recommended in China.However,the Bass method also evidently harbors potential risks.This article delves into the significance of brushing,provides an overview of va-rious brushing techniques,discusses the necessity of adopting the Bass method,and underscores its potential hazards to caution clinical practitioners and popular science advocates to recommend brushing techniques tailored to individual circumstances.
