China's AS700D electric manned airship during its maiden flight in Jingmen,Hubei Province,on February 21.The successful maiden flight represented a major advancement in China’s green aviation for the low-altitude economy sector.Announced by the Aviation Industry Corp.of China,the airship’s developer,this milestone validates the technical maturity of the independently developed AS700D and provides a technological foundation for future electric airships.
