摘要
博士专业学位研究生教育是培养高层次应用型人才的主渠道,工程博士是博士专业学位研究生教育的重要组成部分。“博士培训中心”是英国工程博士专业学位研究生教育的主要项目之一,该项目申请大纲能够体现英国工程博士专业学位类别设置特征。借助NVivo11软件,对200份“博士培训中心”申请大纲文本进行统计分析发现,英国工程博士专业学位申请单位分布在多种类型高校及科研院所;学位类别不仅广泛保留传统学科领域,还涵盖前沿学科领域。进一步对其进行质性研究发现,英国工程博士专业学位类别设置具有以现实需求为本考量科技领域,以能力需求为准考量人才培养和以演进发展为轴考量组织机构的共性特征。借鉴英国经验,我国工程博士专业学位类别设置应从三个层面进行优化:一是科技领域层面,转变传统观念,对焦社会需求;二是人才培养层面,丰富学位类别,做好顶层设计;三是组织机构层面,因时因地制宜,合理选择领域。
Doctoral professional degree graduate education is the main channel for cultivating high-level applied talent, and the Doctor of Engineering education is an important component of doctoral professional degree graduate education. The “Centres for Doctoral Training(CDT)” deliver programs leading to the engineering doctoral degrees in the UK, and the application outline of these programs can reflect the characteristics of the classification of engineering doctoral degrees in the UK. Using NVivo11 software, a statistical analysis is conducted on 200 application outline texts for the CDT. It is found that the application units for engineering doctoral degrees in the UK are distributed among various types of universities and research institutes;the degree categories not only broadly retain traditional disciplinary fields, but also cover cutting-edge disciplinary fields. Further qualitative research finds that the classification of engineering doctoral degrees in the UK has common characteristics of considering technological fields based on practical needs, talent cultivation based on capability needs, and organizational structure based on evolutionary development. Drawing on the UK's experience, the classification of engineering doctoral degrees in China should be optimized from three levels: firstly, in the field of technology, traditional concepts should be transformed to focus on social needs;secondly, in terms of talent cultivation, it is needed to enrich the types of degrees and conduct a top-level design;thirdly, at the organizational level, it is necessary to adapt to local conditions and select fields reasonably.
