摘要
语言教学不能抛开文化内容的讲授而独立存在。然而,当前的大学英语教学依然着重学生英语基础知识的传授和听、说、读、写等基本技能的训练,中华民族传统文化在大学英语教学中十分缺失。本文旨在探究将中华优秀传统文化融入高校大学英语教学的价值与实践路径,弘扬和传承中华优秀传统,提升学生跨文化交际能力和讲好中国故事能力。
Language teaching cannot exist independently without the teaching of cultural content.The current college English teaching,however,still focuses on the teaching of students'basic English knowledge and the training of basic skills such as listening,speaking,reading and writing.Accordingly,the content of traditional Chinese culture is very missing in college English teaching.This paper aims to explore the value and practice path of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into college English teaching,carry forward and inherit excellent Chinese traditions,and improve students'intercultural communication ability and ability to tell Chinese stories well.
