磷富集对泥炭地土壤胞外酶活性响应增温的限制作用

The Limiting Effect of Phosphorus Enrichment on the Response of the Activities of Soil Extracellular Enzymes to Warming in a Peatland

摘要 磷是泥炭地生态系统中主要的限制营养元素之一,目前尚不清楚土壤磷是如何在气候变暖的背景下影响泥炭地土壤胞外酶活性和微生物的营养限制。在中国东北哈泥泥炭地进行了短期的开顶式生长室(Open-Top Chamber,OTC)增温和磷添加实验,同时结合室内培养实验,测定增温和磷添加及其交互作用对土壤胞外酶活性和土壤化学性质的影响。结果表明:磷酸酶活性和酚类化合物含量更多可能受到磷添加的影响,其中,磷输入量的增加使磷酸酶活性显著降低14.1%~23.0%,使酚类化合物含量显著增加20.0%~53.3%。增温和磷添加对β-葡萄糖苷酶和N-乙酰-β-D-葡糖氨糖苷酶活性的影响表现出显著的交互作用,磷添加通过增加植物源的酚类化合物输入而显著限制增温对酶活性的促进作用。同时,泥炭地土壤有机碳含量占比并未受到增温和磷添加的显著影响。结果揭示了外源磷富集对泥炭土壤胞外酶活性响应增温的重要限制作用,有望对气候变化下泥炭地土壤有机碳保护提供新思路。 Phosphorus is a key limiting nutrient in peatland ecosystems.However,the mechanisms by which soil phosphorus influences extracellular enzyme activities and microbial nutrient limitations within the context of climate warming remain poorly understood in peatlands.This study implemented short-term open-top chamber(OTC)warming and phosphorus addition experiments in the Hani peatland of northeastern China,supplemented by laboratory incubation,to assess the impacts of warming,phosphorus addition,and their interactive effects on soil extracellular enzyme activities and chemical properties.Our results indicated that phosphatase activity and phenolic compound were influenced by phosphorus addition,with phosphatase activity significantly decreased by 14.1%~23.0% and phenolic compound significantly increased by 20.0%~53.3%.Additionally,an interaction between warming and phosphorus addition was observed in relation to the activities of β-glucosidase and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase,with phosphorus addition markedly constraining the stimulatory effect of warming on these enzymes by elevating the input of plant-derived phenolic compounds.Concurrently,the proportion of soil organic carbon remained stable by warming and phosphorus treatments.These results highlight the pivotal role of phosphorus enrichment in modulating the response of extracellular enzyme activities to warming,suggesting potential strategies for the conservation of soil organic carbon in peatlands under climate change.
